Reporting to the Vice President Finance & Corporate Controller, this hands-on position will be responsible for the company’s treasury administration and risk management functions, including management of the company’s cash and marketable securities and related forecasting and analysis, foreign currency hedging policy and insurance programs.

The Treasury Manager will interface with all levels of the worldwide Finance and operating organizations, senior management, professional service providers, and specifically will be responsible for the following: Banking relationships: manage the external banking relationships for all treasury operations including: investment advisors, operational banking, foreign currency hedging. Cash and marketable securities: Monitor third party investment management and analyze results. Proactively work with outside firms to optimize investment returns within corporate policy while maintaining secure availability of funds for operations. Develop operational cash forecasting process and utilize to develop optimal capital structure recommendations with CFO/VP Finance. Work with Tax Director to optimize offshore cash concentrations. Review treasury transactions for proper accounting treatment. Forecasting: Develop process to forecast quarterly cash, investments, “other” income and related balance sheet amounts. Provide analysis and understanding of the forecast drivers. Foreign currency hedging: Work with accounting to determine foreign currency exposures, including economic, transactional, and translational exposures. Determine appropriate hedging requirements and recommend enhancements to current policies and procedures. Enter into foreign exchange contracts to minimize risk. Insurance programs: Serve as coordinator for company’s (non-employee health) insurance programs. Drive annual renewal process and assist with claims management. Work with the Safety manager to minimize risk at company sites.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with at least 8 years of progressive experience including specific experience in treasury operations. Must have competent accounting skills for: investments; foreign currency and hedging transactions. Strong business, analytic, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to excel in a fast paced, rapidly changing, high-tech environment. Ability to self-manage with minimal supervision mandatory.
