The Automobile Club of Southern California in HAWAII is seeking career-minded individuals for our Travel Agent opportunities in the HONOLULU District Office.  

In this position, you would:
-Counsel members and clients on travel options
-Sell both international and domestic travel products and services including hotel, car reservations, cruises, tours, air and rail passes
-Initiate group sales
-Host travel presentations
-Travel as an escort when appropriate
-Establish and maintain client files and mailing lists
-Meet deadlines



Employee Qualifications:

Willingness to work some Saturdays, and support evening and weekend travel promotions as needed. 
Education High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent certificate required. Two years of college preferred.   Experience 2 years of Travel Agency experience or 3 – 5 years of District Office travel experience desired.   Knowledge / Skills / Competencies Comprehensive knowledge in a variety of the organization’s operating areas, products and services offered, and District Office Operations delivery channels desirable. Advanced verbal and written communication skills required. Moderate analytical and time management skills required Ability to create and deliver presentations Advanced knowledge and training on computer systems used to fulfill member travel requests and travel agency accounting systems required. General typing, Windows, Outlook, Word, and Internet/Intranet access skills required. General knowledge of Club systems, including but not limited to: VIEWPOINT, MACTOUR, APOLLO, GLOBALWARE, and PLEASANT TOUR.   Certificates / Special Must complete certificates as required for Agents and AAA Computer Based Training courses as needed. Must maintain systems knowledge for ticketing of airlines, cruises and rail. Successful completion of AAA Training Program expected.   Who We Are / What We Do
