Our Milwaukee, WI office is seeking an entry level Transportation Engineer to join our team. This is your opportunity to work on the most exciting, challenging, and largest infrastructure projects in Wisconsin! You will be on the team completing the design of highway components in connection with major urban interstate/interchange reconfiguration projects and other transportation-related projects. You will also have the opportunity to learn from and work beside some of the leaders in highway engineering in Wisconsin. Our top candidate has a BS degree in Civil Engineering and at least one semester of internship experience, preferably in highway/roadway design. Prior experience on any DOT or local agency project is preferred, while specific experience on Wisconsin DOT projects is highly desirable. This position also requires a strong desire to gain technical design experience, and a willingness to learn highway drainage, traffic engineering, utility coordination and AASHTO and MUTCD standards. Strong written and oral communication skills are needed to be successful in this role. Knowledge of and experience using CADD / Design Software (MicroStation and InRoads preferably) is a plus!
