Job Description --------------- As a member of PwC's Northern California Transfer Pricing Group, based in San Francisco, the Transfer Pricing Director will work closely with Transfer Pricing Partners (as well as with International Tax and M&A) in assisting U.S. and foreign multinationals in developing global tax minimization strategies. The Northern California Transfer Pricing Group is growing rapidly fueled by significant change in the U.S. transfer pricing and corporate tax environment and a solid pipeline of work in the technology, financial services, and retail industries. Specific projects include: i) Identifying and assessing clients' cross border intercompany transactions, ii) Developing local country transfer pricing documentation, iii) Strategizing on local country revenue authority transfer pricing audits, and iv) Global planning (i.e., continuous optimization of clients' existing and new U.S .to foreign intercompany transactions, as well as special projects related to clients' restructuring, acquisitions and divestitures), v) Day to day project management, including interacting with clients and supervising staff. Years of Experience Required ---------------------------- 7 + Education Required ------------------ BA/BS required, preferable an MBA or PhD in Economics/Finance. A credential is required. The approved credentials are as follows: CPA, Admittance to Practice Law, PhD in Economics/Finance, ASA, Enrolled Agent, MBA, Masters in Economics or Public Administration. Job Requirement Essential ------------------------- Ideally, the individual will have a minimum of 7 years of consulting experience in the transfer pricing arena. Fluent verbal and written English skills are essential. Additionally, successful candidates will be highly organized with the ability to create process and procedure; extremely motivated and interested in taking the initiative for their own personal growth and development; exercise client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills.
