Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Analyst to manage compliance to HCC guidelines for financial transactions between the company and health care providers. Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. provides in vitro diagnostic products to hospital, commercial and clinical laboratories, and blood donor centers. Its products include reagents and instrument systems used in blood typing and donor testing; clinical chemistry determinations and immunoassays for disease diagnosis and therapy management; as well as RhoGAM®, an injectable drug used to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn. The OCD Franchise also includes Veridex, specializing in novel oncology diagnostics, and Therakos focused on immune cell therapy. The role of Financial Transactions Analyst (currently using the C2RUISE system) is a fundamental business enabler and key to the compliance program. The position manages and supports the health care compliance review process to ensure compliance with the companies guidance regarding these transactions. Financial transactions with health care professionals and institutions - consulting agreements, educational grants, business expenses and charitable contributions - are appropriately processed, reviewed and approved through the support provided by this position. Such review and documentation is required in order to be compliant with OCD policy, J&&J Corporate guidance, and state and Federal law. In the current enforcement and legislative environment, all the transactions mentioned above are under increasing scrutiny and may be subject to mandatory state reporting laws and other disclosure requirements such as the posting of some of these transactions publicly. The person in this role will assist in developing a methodology to accurately and completely disclose information publicly about financial transactions as required by law or J&&J policy. The position will be responsible for generating reports to monitor compliance to standards, and make recommendations about improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of the review process. In addition, this role will support the implementation of an automated system and process improvements to enhance the management and tracking of these transactions. This position reports into a Manager, Compliance and will be located in Raritan, New Jersey.

Minimum of a Bachelors degree is required and an MBA preferred. A minimum of 3 years of business experience in health care is required. Experience with the healthcare compliance requirements for grants, contributions, and consulting agreements is preferred. Computer skills necessary for database management and administration in the C2RUISE system, Ariba, e-room, and other applications is required. The ability to manage multiple priorities for assigned projects is required. The successful candidate is highly organized for the timely completion of tasks and assessment of transactions with appropriate documentation. Must have excellent customer service attitude and have the ability to handle inquires from across the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required along with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative with strong analytical skills that can recommend metrics, reports, processes and other mechanisms to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of transaction management by the department. Prior experience in employing audits as a control mechanism is preferred. The ideal candidate is interested in and has the potential to advance within Health Care Compliance as a career.
