Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, a 235-attorney firm based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an energetic, highly professional Training Specialist for its Charlotte, NC office. Reporting to the Training Coordinator, primary responsibility for this position is ownership of the New Hire Orientation process which includes: Conducting orientation sessions on computer and VoIP phone use for all personnel plus revision and maintenance of orientation documentation and materials.
Additional responsibilities include:
Customize and deliver training sessions for current staff based on Management and Help Desk input. Training to be conducted via scheduled training sessions, lunchtime sessions and e-learning modules. Work with Training Coordinator in assessment, creation, delivery and analysis of training programs to ensure effective and efficient software roll-outs and application upgrades. Research and evaluate new software and create training documentation.Job Requirements:
PREVIOUS LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY FOR THIS POSITION! Minimum four + years experience in a law firm environment, with at least two years classroom training experience. Proficiency in all MS Office applications (including Office 2007), Interwoven, and Citrix. Prefer expertise in Elite, InterAction, VoIP phones and e-learning methodology. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly assess situations and determine client-focused course of action. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to travel to other firm office locations in North and South Carolina. Approximately 20 - 30 % travel required.
