Located on the University of Maryland at Baltimore campus, near Camden Yards and Harbor attractions, University Physicians, Inc. (UPI) coordinates and supports the clinical activities of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. We employ over 900 non-physician staff who support the clinical practices of our faculty.

Currently we are seeking a Training Documentation Specialist to perform the following duties: creating training materials using a diverse set of methodologies and technologies; integrating training content to create innovative education products (both written and online) offered to UPI employees; collaborating with Practice Operations training team to ensure documentation is current; providing technical support regarding on line training/CBT tools, interactive tutorials and other new software tools as needed; utilizing design and documentation skill sets in support of other UPI Administration departments as assigned; and other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will possess: Bachelor's degree required (communications, journalism, English, or related field preferred) or equivalent combination of coursework and relevant work experience; at least one year desktop publishing and editing experience required; 1-2 years health care experience preferred; advanced MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Access required; proficiency in Adobe InDesign required; excellent writing and editing skills; knowledge of website development, and development of computer based training and/or software simulation events preferred; ability to communicate concepts in computer-based applications preferred; working understanding of adult learning theory and training concepts preferred; ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team; aability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
