Position Summary:  Responsible for developing and presenting technical training courses on company products, and also for identifying and growing new business opportunities for Customer Education Department. Must have a solid understanding and ability to manage classroom settings, students and presentations in an adult learning environment, and have demonstrated sales and marketing skills in growing sales revenue. Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.

Job Responsibilities: 
1. Independently develop and present technical training courses without assistance to diverse customer groups including periodic travel to present courses at customers' facilities; some international travel required
2. Maintain and prepare classroom / workshop facilities for courses
3. Develop web-based training courses
4. Independently research and write content for video productions
5. Provide Global Training Directors and IDN Network with training support as required
6. Execute Customer Education's 5 Year Business Plan and maintain profitability
7. Identify and pursue new profitable markets, products and services 
8. Develop annual sales and marketing plan with supporting budget and track results
9. Attend trade shows as required
10. Manage the Power Channel content, develop and update content and grow "Pay-To-View" revenue 
11. Collaborate with customer groups on developing needed courses both technical and business management

Job Skills and Requirements:
1. Practical and theoretical knowledge of engine and engine powered equipment
2. Understanding basic business, financial, sales and marketing concepts 
3. Excellent project management skills
4. Excellent written, communication and presentation skills as well as strong organizational skills
5. Proficient use of Microsoft products; word, excel, powerpoint and e-mail
6. Experienced in video production and technical script writing
7. Ability to demonstrate leadership in meeting customer driven training needs and achieving results
8. Ability to develop and execute business plans, track progress and attain desired results
9. Ability to identify and pursue new profitable business, independently develop and execute strategies, track progress and attain desired results, involves but not limited to sales planning, identifying new products and services, establishing pricing strategy, performing financial analysis and developing a plan for promotions, trade shows and advertising.

Education Requirements:
Two or four year technical degree, Two year Business Associate Degree or Bachelors Business Degree or equivalent experience. 

Experience Requirements:
· Approximately 3 years of experience in training and/or public speaking
· Approximately 3 years in sales and marketing with emphasis on identifying and growing new profitable business
· Approximately 3 years of experience in outdoor power equipment industry and working with engines and equipment
