Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial and commercial air moving equipment with facilities in the United States, India, Singapore, and China.  We have an excellent opportunity in our Plymouth, Minnesota headquarters for a skilled, motivated Trainer/Recruiter.  This is the perfect position for an individual who wants to assume a key role and significantly contribute to a dynamic, fast growing and entrepreneurial company.

 

You will develop, deliver and administer employee education and development programs as well as lead the recruitment and selection of qualified candidates. 

 

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

 

Training

 

·         Work with the VP Employee Resources and Department Heads to identify training and development needs at corporate and out state facilities.  Make recommendations to assist in developing annual plan for training functions.

·         Work with internal instructors to develop and revise curriculum and materials.

·         Develop and deliver in-house training classes to employees. 

·         Research and analyze training products such as authoring tools, training management systems, vendor courses and alternative delivery tools (e.g. WebEx).

·         Coordinate training activities with external providers, e.g. Employers Association, consultants, etc.

·         Promote enrollment in internal and external training classes.

·         Manage logistics of employee training and development activities.  Schedule courses and work with outside vendors as needed.  Schedule facilities and equipment to be used in the delivery of training courses.  Process confirmations and documents attendance at training sessions.  Develop, maintain and track training records.  Design training department communication materials.

·         Administer tuition reimbursement program.

 

Recruiting

 

·         Interact with managers and other HR staff to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.

·         Develop and implement cost effective recruitment and sourcing tools including advertising, job boards, educational institutions, professional associations, community resources and staffing agencies.

·         Lead the recruiting process including reviewing resumes and employment applications, conducting screening interviews as needed, recommending candidates to hiring supervisors, interviewing, conducting reference checks, participating in the selection process and providing ongoing communication with candidates.

·         Support EEO and Affirmative Action activities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·         BA/BS and 3 years related training experience.

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Ability to work independently.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities.

·         Strong computer skills.
