About the Position:
We are seeking talented engineers to fill multiple positions:

Our Dalton, GA office currently has a full time position for an Engineer with a BS degree in civil engineering, an emphasis on transportation, and who has passed the EIT/FE exam. This position requires 3+ years experience with proficiency in MicroStation and GeoPAK and familiarity with GDOT design, drafting standards, and specifications. Preferred qualifications include working on multiple projects, ability to perform earthwork and quantity calculations.

Our West Palm Beach, FL office is currently seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer. Minimum requirements include: BS in Civil Engineering, Florida PE and 5+ years post-registration experience. Extensive experience with permitting and FDOT drainage design preferred.

Our Lutz, FL office is in need of a motivated, self-starting Traffic Engineer/Planner with Florida PE registration and 5-7 years of experience in traffic studies and planning. The position assists the Traffic Engineer/Planning Manager through both project management and hands-on project involvement. Experience in project management of technical studies is required including: PD&E traffic reports, corridor and intersection studies and DRI review/preparation. A working knowledge of Microsimulation software (HCS, CORSIM, Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM) is highly desirable. Knowledge of and experience with current FDOT traffic design standards/procedures is also preferred. Candidates must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills and a thorough understanding of financial project management. Successful candidate will be actively involved in marketing services to existing and new clients.

Finally, our Lutz, FL office is also seeking a Transportation Planner to join our Transportation Program. The Transportation Planner will be responsible for working on projects ranging from traffic impact studies to complex highway planning projects. Duties may include performing planning research, data compilation, and documentation and data analysis on various transportation projects.

Minimum Requirements:
- Accredited Bachelors Degree in Planning, Engineering or other professionally recognized equivalent discipline.
- Prior work experience of four or more years in the field of Transportation Planning/Traffic Engineering. The successful candidate should possess technical planning skills to participate in a broad range of planning projects including Transportation and Corridor studies and Multimodal Planning.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Technically oriented Planning and analysis skills (Transportation Modeling and Capacity Analysis). Experience with Cube Voyager and/or TranPlan transportation modeling and HCS.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Professional writing sample required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Florida Standard Urban Transportation Modeling Structure (FSUTMS).
- Experience with traffic simulation packages such as Syncro.
- GIS or computer programming skills.
- Masters degree in Planning or Civil Engineering preferred.
- AICP or PE a plus.
 
Location:
Positions exist in Florida and Georgia.
