This non-laboratory position involves the review, analysis, and adequacy assessments of scientific studies on the health and environmental effects of chemicals, development of human health and ecological risk assessments, programming and populating databases related to the environment, development of models for quantitative structure-activity analysis, and close interaction with SRC scientists and SRC's clients.
Requirements: Successful candidates must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in toxicology, biology, ecology, or related disciplines. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants must have demonstrated skills in technical writing and the ability to work independently. Course work or experience in organic chemistry, strong quantitative mathematical analysis skills, and familiarity with principles of toxicology, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacokinetics, epidemiology, and statistics is desirable.
