ETCREO is looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate to work as the Title Curative Manager in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office.
The REO Title Curative Manager is responsible for fostering and implementing title orders for Bank/Mortgage Companies involving REO listings out of our marketing area. This individual will be our centralized title order desk, title review and curative manager of services to insure all clients maintain insurable title to close scheduled settlements through measures title procurement. This associate would also be able to be cross-trained to assist with closing to maintain that all closing title agents and attorney’s have what is required to perform successful closings.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Orders and reviews title reports.Resolves problems/complaints from clients and title agents/attorneys.Supervises all communication between title agent and client regarding title issues.Reviews title reports and its documentation based on client’s needs.Approves all applicable liens and payoffs with attorney / closing agent to ensure title insurability.Maintains data in Service Engine and client assigned systems.Provides assistance to REO Closing Manager / closing agent/ attorney in resolving any issues which have appeared on the title search.Approves the issuance of Letters of Indemnity through assigned title agent when needed.Directs title agents, clients and attorneys to reach an insurable commitment of title.
Qualifications
Minimum of High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two to four years related experience and/or training highly preferred.Knowledge of Network computer skills, also Microsoft Office, internet, e-mail, etc
