You will be working with families providing individual sessions, working with a treatment team and med management. You will obtain history and physicals along with being capable of providing primary care services and management of acute and chronic medical conditions on an inpatient basis. Carrying an outpatient caseload providing med management may also be an additional opportunity.

NOTE: This position splits time between Willow Springs Center and West Hills Hospital
Located in Reno, Nevada, Willow Springs Center is a 76-bed residential treatment facility helping children and adolescents, ages 5 through 17, recover from emotional, psychiatric, behavioral and chemical dependency problems.
West Hills Hospital is a 95-bed acute care facility helping those in need recover from emotional, psychiatric, behavioral and chemical dependency problems.

REQUIREMENTSMaster’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. National Certification required.
Must be licensed in the State of Nevada
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR / AED training and successful completion of Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) including restraint and seclusion policies within ninety (90) days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served on his or her assigned program. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs.
