Advanced Energy is seeking energetic, talented, self-motivated NPI Manufacturing Test Engineers for our Navigator (RF Match) products. In this position, you will work in the area of manufacturing sustaining and applied research and development of manufacturing test systems. You will collaborate closely with the lead test engineer and product development teams. You will own sustaining of the manufacturing test equipment and be responsible for development of test system changes to support and integrate in new product changes. Assist in development of manufacturing test technology as well as the release and control of test systems software and manufacturing system changes into manufacturing. You will work with development to ensure design for manufacturability.



Desired skills and experience:

BSEE (required) or MSEE (desired)
4+ years with development of manufacturing test systems in both NPI and manufacturing environments.
Power electronics
RF metrology
4+ Years LabView, 4+ Years digital & analog design, GBIP & Serial control of test equipment
Object oriented programming and integration of DLL’s (LabVIEW preferred)
Serial communications (RS-232, RS-485, ProfiBus, DeviceNet, Ethernet)
ICT development experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prefer experience with Six Sigma tools (certified at Greenbelt or Blackbelt), SPC experience
Travel may be required outside of the United States
