ANSYS Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to join our Testing group in the Lebanon, New Hampshire office.  Responsibilities of the Test Engineer will include:

Assist Test Manager and Lead Test Engineer in the preparation of test plans. Work with developers, Marketing, Support Engineers and other staff in the definition, preparation and analysis of test cases and benchmarks to ensure adequate and effective testing of new features in ANSYS Inc products. Execute test plans, prepare and run manual and automated tests and undertake in reporting of test results. Work with the Lead Test Engineer and other staff to analyze the effectiveness of testing activities and methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process. Work with test automation tools and the application framework component, write and maintain test scripts, analysis test runs on a daily basis, works with all supported platforms, make use of testing lab. Ensure stability of daily and weekly builds so other development teams can work with the application framework. Enable problems to be found and correct early in the life cycle.

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering is preferred, but will consider other engineering backgrounds with relevant experience.  Experience in SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer, Unigraphics NX, AutoDesk Inventor Some experience with simulation packages Ability in the development and maintenance of automated scripts. Ability to establish good working relationship with Software Development, QA, Marketing and Support Staff. Excellent written and oral communication.
