Must be willing to work Saturday and a combination of day and night shifts as needed. Regular hours of operation vary. Opportunity to act as a direct public liaison for the company while working with technology in a professional office setting. Pearson VUE Test Administrators/Proctors administer professional computerized licensing exams to would-be doctors, nurses, and other professionals. Our testing centers are currently open 5-7 days/week (dictated by testing volume). Work schedules are planned in advance and fluctuate as needed; FLEXIBILITY is a must for the growing business. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Test Center Manger position is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the Pearson VUE Test Centers exam delivery operation. Tasks include: Performs daily site opening and closing procedures, reviews daily download of examinations and making of site schedule for employees. Checks in examinees and verifies identification. Explains the exam process, asks examinee to place all personal belongings in a personal locker, escorts examinee to assigned computer, helps the examinee begin the exam, monitors examinee(s) and provides assistance during examination time. Reports all exam discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner. Communicates with technical support to investigate and fix technical issues. Understands testing procedures for each exam sponsor and adheres to company quality and security measures. Responsible for maintaining a professional and clean testing center; includes dusting around the computers, vacuuming the small office, and taking out the office trash. Must be able to operate a computer, fax, and telephone. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs to move computers with a coworker. Physical agility required to move from administrator and proctor desks into testing room to escort examinees from room to room. Takes ownership of all procedures and identifying areas of improvement. Customer service skills are a must. Strong communication skills - written and oral. Must enjoy working with the public and have a strong initiative to work independently. Must be able to work in a quiet environment, learn detailed procedures, and handle a reasonable amount of stress. Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, Internet, and email. Must be willing to become certified as a Pearson VUE Test Administrator/Proctor (training provided) and pass a re-certification exam annually. EOE m / f / v / d PEARSON VUE
