LOUD Technologies (formerly Mackie Designs, St. Louis Music, etc.) is searching for a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) for Installed/Live Sound Sales. We are seeking an experienced candidate to take on our Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North/South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas regions. LOUD TSM’s are primarily responsible for managing and growing an existing account base and adding new accounts with aggressive prospecting within the designated region. The TSM is charged with achieving specific account sales goals with acceptable profit margins as defined by senior management. This role will coordinate forward looking sales forecasts, market share growth plans and business development activities with the Director of Sales for Installed/Live Sound. The TSM is expected to use a wide degree of creativity and latitude to achieve annual sales and profit margin goals. Sales will be primarily concentrated to the brands of Martin Audio and Mackie, with access to our MI Brands as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Achieve revenue/growth targets within given territory
· Create and implement quarterly district sales/business plan to achieve goals
· Manage and grow assigned account base as well as add new accounts by developing profitable business relationships
· Interact with audio consultants to showcase and expand brand awareness
· Attend regional and national tradeshows as needed per direction of LOUD
· Extensive travel within district
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2-4 years experience in the live/installed sound industry required
· Working knowledge of room acoustics modeling software, system control software and familiarity with commercial sound desired
· Ability to travel extensively
· Must be familiar with the live/installed sound market including practices, procedures and emerging technologies
· General understanding of basic sales and marketing concepts
· A passion for pro audio gear and the music industry
· LOUD product knowledge and/or experience. LOUD brands include Mackie, Tapco, Martin Audio, Crate, Ampeg, Alvarez, Knilling, etc.
· Ability to comply with LOUD’s travel policies and procedures
· Must be goal oriented and results driven
· Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
· Clear, effective and positive communication style
· Proficient in gathering, analyzing and using data
· Extreme attention to detail and excellent time management skills
· A driver’s license and the ability to travel by air
· Strong internal motivation and the desire to work in a face-paced high pressure environment
