As a Foundry Networks Sales Administrator you will be responsible for managing the sales and customer account administration, as well as the monitoring, planning and implementation of projects that support order processing activities. Uses knowledge of company products, services and support, oversees sales administration in providing sales process support. You will provide customer support; coordinate training; make sales calls, answer incoming inquiries; and provide general office support. Close coordination with the Foundry regional direct sales team and sales team counterparts on a regular basis will be required. You will responsible for communicating sales activity, actions, and results on a weekly basis. You will directly report to the Regional Vice President and receive specific assignments, targets, and goals. Responsible for sales process work flow and making improvements to that process.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Requires in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
The ideal candidate will have the following:

Ability to be organized, detail, process and goal oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently, but also as a team player is necessary.
Receives little or no supervision for most assignments.
Supporting End User Customers with any queries/problems
Assisting regional sales teams with whatever is needed to close business
Prospect, identify & close business with existing Foundry accounts assisting the regional sales manager & direct sales teams
Assist sales teams in sales support, proposals, presentations & prepare quotes for customers.
Support Contracts Renewals – informing customers/sales teams when contracts require to be renewed. Generating support quotations.
Interface regularly with field sales teams – regional/internal sales reps
Continuous communication with customer providing order/shipment details
Processing of sales orders – making sure that the sales orders are provided for approval. Log all orders that have been provided to VP for approval. Compare orders that have been received against those that have been processed. If orders haven’t been processed find out the reasons for this and work with OA to solve.
If there are problems with customers purchase orders communicate this with end user/partner to have purchase order amended and revised so that they can be processed by OA.
Escalation Management – orders requiring urgent shipping, orders to be amended, issues with shipments/orders/discounts
Liaising with channel partners & sales administration to co-ordinate shipments & special order requirements
Providing the channel partners & end user customers with order status/shipment reports
Handling support calls, directing them to TAC, Sales, SE, Sales/SE Manager
Requires Top Secret clearance w/SBI
Previous sales administration support.
Demonstrates a complete command of company products, services and technical capabilities and their application to customer requirements.
BS/BA and/or 3+ years of professional, related work experience.
