We currently have an exciting temporary, telecommuting opportunity for a Patent Prosecution Attorney with an Electrical Engineering or Material Science background Responsibilities include: ' Prepare and prosecute US Patent Applications on a broad selection of inventions, principally in the fields of Electrical, Mechanical-Electrical, Optics, Physics, Controls, Semiconductor, or Software; Manage the preparation and prosecution work by mentoring agents and coordinating outside counsel work; ' Prepare and negotiate various Intellectual Property agreements; ' Provide patentability, non-infringement and invalidity opinions; Education and experience required: ' A Bachelors degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering. ' A JD from an accredited US Law School ' Admission to at least one state bar or the DC bar ' Registered to practice before the US Patent & Trademark Office ' A minimum of 25 patent applications drafted from scratch and 50 prosecuted ' Unrestricted work authorization in the US is required ' High speed internet connection.
