Account Executive - Telesales

Overview

The qualified candidate is primarily responsible for delivering CARFAX On-line contracts and for representing the CARFAX Vehicle History Service to the automotive industry. This position reports directly to the Manager of Sales.

Job Function

· Call on dealers & key dealer groups, present CARFAX Dealer Program and obtain the authorized signature on the Carfax application

· Develop and isolate dealership contacts using industry contacts, previous customers, cold calling, etc

· Maintain a targeted outbound telephone occupancy rate of 25+ % daily and six (6) dials per hour to dealerships to secure new subscriber contracts in a specified territory

· Maintain a quota of sixteen (16) sales per month

· Respond to inbound calls from prospects inquiring about the service

· Follow up all calls with printed materials via mail, fax / Fax Server or email in a timely manner

· Every inbound and outbound call made must be recorded in our tracking software (OnContact). Employees are responsible for updating contact information such as names, addresses and demographics about the dealerships in the OnContact program. Accurate completion of follow-up activities is essential for contact management and accuracy of marketing efforts

· Represent Carfax at industry conventions, meetings as requested

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· 4 years prior telesales experience in business to business sales or in the automotive industry selling products and/or services to dealer principals

· E-business/internet experience specific to business to business sales

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Detail oriented and organized

· Possess good planning and follow up skills

· Clear speaking phone voice with good diction

· Disciplined and self-motivated

· Team player

· Proficient in MS Office products to include Word, and Excel
