What would you be doing?
As a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager you would be responsible for building a working relationship with all parties involved in disability and worker’s compensation claims to ensure workers receive prompt and effective treatment and claims are processed quickly and thoroughly. Other responsibilities would include:
Managing diverse caseloads to ensure workers receive appropriate medical care Consulting with physicians on treatment plans Coordinating injured workers’ return to work with employers Meeting with employers or physicians to discuss case-specific details as needed Following up with workers who have returned to work to monitor effectiveness of treatment Serving as point of contact for employers on cases Documenting all communications in a paperless environment

Current and unrestricted Compact State Licensure as a Registered Nurse Previous work experience in occupational health or case management Certified Case Managers and Certified Occupational Health Nurses are preferred Ability to work independently Experience working with Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois workers’ compensation claims helpful Excellent computer and keyboarding skills Marketing or public speaking experience is a plus
