Exciting Career Opportunity in San Antonio, TX for a professional with Optical Networking, Fiber Optics and Telephony, experience with Cell towers and antenna sites for wireless, cell phone and/or broadcast communication. 

Full Time Perm - Excellent Benefits, Salary $65K - $85K

Engineering Degree from an accredited college (ABET) is a huge plus

Our client has many communication buildings and this person will oversee project management of communication facilities

Approximately 60 to 100 buildings and 60-70 antenna towers that are always being modified or building new ones - Engineering of these is important and as the selected candidate will be doing that.

Experience with any of the following providers (AT&T, Cricket, Sprint/Nextel, Pocket, etc.)  would be very helpful

This engineer must know how many antennas’ you can engineer on one tower; expanding coverage - our client leases tower space and the engineer would coordinate this.

Must be an Engineer- Electric or Civil

The ideal candidate would have Electric with some Civil Construction

Experience at AT&T, Sprint/Nextel, Pocket, communication companies such as those; a Utility Company would be a huge plus.

·         Has been involved in wireless build-outs

·         FAA/FCC background (know how tall antenna’s can be due to planes in the air, etc.)

·         If the candidate is PE Registered that would be a HUGE PLUS; if they are not currently PE Registered they will be required to receive this while working at our clients company.

·         This is a progression position- there are 4 levels and the candidate can come in at any level
