Telecom Tech/Installer SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
San Angelo, Goodfellow AFB, Texas
2 Month Contract
 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job duties are cable pulling (small quantities) on j-hooks and in EMT, EMT installation, small core drilling, fire stopping, NEMA box installation, exterior antennas on buildings, interior antennas in aircraft hangers, wireless access point installation in NEMAs and 2x2 ceiling tiles, and terminating the CAT5e with RG45s.

3 openings for Installers located at Goodfellow Air Force Base. Active or recent Security Clearance is required.

We need installers with some experience and security clearance.  Projects will last about 2 months but there is a chance they could move on to other projects or go longer.

Active or recent Security Clearance is Required.

We prefer they have at least one year of telecommunication infrastructure installation experience with the following:

CAT 5/6 cable pulling/installation
CAT 5/6 cable termination (RJ45 and 110 on patch panel)
Installing J-hook runs (on wood, block and concrete)
Installing EMT conduit and pull boxes
Pulling and terminating Coax (specifically LMR400)
Core drywall, cinder block and concrete
Sleeve and fire stop cores
Wireless access point installation
Wireless antenna installation internal and external on mast
