This position is primarily responsible for performing complex tasks, under minimal supervision, to support all Telecom and PC related activities. This position supports all the various bank departments and member companies of BOK Financial. This position is also responsible for performing complex tests, under supervision of the Systems Liaison, to support all LAN/WAN related activities; works with vendors to resolve network performance problems; interfaces between users and Network professionals. Qualifications -Working knowledge of Production PBX operations (must possess 2-5 years experience in telecom adds, moves, and changes; prefer Nortel equipment experience) - Thorough knowledge and understanding of a variety of operating systems including but not limited to Novell, NT, Windows, DOS operating systems - Strong technical background including knowledge of PC internals such as motherboard architecture, operating systems, board interrupts, ports, DMA channels, and conflicts - Thorough knowledge of a cornucopia of software and the ability to understand new applications with a minimum of prior exposure to the product - Working knowledge of LAN cabling requirements, specifications, and installation - Working knowledge and understanding of mainframe communications - Working knowledge and understanding of telecommunications - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Technology /Science, and 3-5 years experience as technical system support and network administration or 9-11 years work related experience.
