Technical Trainer – Clinical Informatics (AHLTA & Essentris™).

Minimum 1 year experience as an Armed Forces Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) trainer or minimum of 6 months experience with documented reference from an AHLTA site (a person able to speak to their teaching abilities at the clinic chief level or equivalent) and 1 year minimum of teaching experience. Training includes instructor–led training to Health Care Providers, Nurses, Technicians and/or Clerks. Providing AHLTA refresher training, one-to-one support, training for coders, executive overviews, briefings and/or on-the-job training. Demonstrated knowledge of Essentris™ in a military or civilian medical facility. Ability to train Essentris™ as a component of AHLTA as well as to effectively instruct users as it becomes integrated into the clinical and business procedures of the military medical facility of assignment. Minimum 1 year clinical experience within a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) knowledge or minimum of 5 months experience with documented reference from an MTF. Minimum of 1 year experience as a trainer, preferably for health care and/or systems training. Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience. With a Master’s degree, 3 years of general experience is required.
