A leader in biological magnetic cell separation science is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to service a territory in Western Pennsylvania and San Diego California.
This position is responsible for developing sales and servicing existing accounts through in-depth product line knowledge
This position:
Meets and/or exceeds company sales forecasts in designated territory through in-depth knowledge of market segments, expert technical sales knowledge across product line, and sales skills to convert customer leads to sales.
Identifies potential sales leads and converts these leads to sales through a targeted/tailored plan.
Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships with each account knowledge thorough personal, phone or electronic mail including researching, troubleshooting and following through to a prompt solution any customer question, problem or complaint
Participates in strategic market development with colleagues, supervisor, and corporate to continue to define and refine growth and opportunity potential.
Collaborates with fellow sales colleagues and participates as a member of a strong regional staff.
Requirements:
BS in Life Science, Advanced Degree in Immunology is highly desirable.
Qualified candidates must have demonstrated successful sales experience in the biotechnology field.
Hands on lab experience a must and be familiar with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must be able to travel 25-35%, with higher travel initially for training.
