TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE - NEW ORLEANS, LA Company: AT&T

Requirements:

Synopsis of Position: As part of the sales team, this position has the responsibility of prospecting and driving new revenue within an assigned territory, specifically IP/VoIP products and services. In addition, this position provides technical sales support including product information, pricing and return on investment to the account team and customer direct to ensure successful integration and implementation of established company products and participates in joint sales calls with the Valued Competitive Account Executives. Position supports on average 20 CAEs and does require extensive driving for customer visits.

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Supports unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities. Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. Provides answers to customer inquires concerning system software and applications and provides consultation to prospective users.

Understands, develops and delivers systems/applications solutions to customers business, information, technical and educational needs. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situation or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

Incumbents have a full, working knowledge of assigned company products and services such as MIS, MPLS, managed VPN and VoIP products and services. Works independently with minimum supervision/guidance.

 Required Degrees/Majors/Accreditations/Skills: BS or equivalent and 3-5 years sales engineering and/or sales experience

 Desired Degrees/Majors/Accreditations/Skills: Required Degrees/Majors/Accreditations/Skills: Degree preferred. Self motivated, work with minimal supervision, multitasking
orientation, time management skills, working with word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft word, excel).
