Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science and an excellent command of English.  Experience in manuscript editing, journal production, and publishing is a plus. In addition, candidates must demonstrate the following skills:

·        Excellent organizational abilities

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills

·        Good customer service skills

·        Ability to work in a collaborative environment

·        Familiarity with PC-based editing tools

Duties:

This full-time position involves editing manuscripts and reviewing galley proofs for both technical content and clarity, working with authors and editors in a customer service capacity, and coordinating and overseeing the journal production process.
