To implement structured processes, architecture and design direction within a team responsible for technology that enables systematic & fundamental understanding of financial markets. This is a high profile position & a key hire for this world class Hedge Fund. Previous financial experience, though a plus is not a prerequisite, instead you will need to demonstrate excellent problem solving ability, evidence of innovation as a technical leader, a comprehensive technical background including design & hands on development experience of large scale /real-time/distributed systems/mission critical systems from scratch using Core Java or C#. You will be up to date with the latest technologies and technology best practices and demonstrate superb communication skills. You will a strong academic background in Computer Science or Engineering. Experience of multithreading, developing real time distributed trading systems would be a plus. You will be responsible for proactively working with the research team to understand their requirements & design appropriate strategic solutions ensuring that the Companies critical processes are well controlled, fast & safe.
