Posting Job Description
1. Essential Job Functions:

The purpose of this position is to ensure all technical operations are carried out in a safe manner, on schedule, and in a manner consistent with Time Warner Cable policies, procedures, quality, standards, customer needs and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

% of time Function
50% Assumes direct responsibility for technical aspects of system operatios and maintenance. * Provides leadership, guidance, and training to all technical personnel. Supervises, directs and motivates the technical staff. * Evaluates the condition and performance of the plant and recommends appropriate action. * Supervises performance of established system maintenance programs to include, but not limited to, annual FCC tests, FCC compliance and CLI. *

25% Provides guidance and direction to staff including hiring, disciplinary action, staff development, goal formulation and performance review. * Supports company's policies and procedures including AA/EEO goals. * Holds weekly one-on-one productivity meetings for department staff. * Plans for maintenance of electronics and power supplies and directs area sweeps.*

25% Cooperates with co-workers. * Responds politely to customers. * Works as a member of a team. * Accepts change in a productive manner. * Performs other duties as assigned.









2. Job Requirements:
Knowledge of (specific subject areas which make performance of the job possible):

Technical and supervisory experience required. * Familiarity with FCC regulations, OSHA laws, and safety compliance regulations required. *

a. Education & Experience: Select the level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.

Level 3: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business from four-year college or university; or four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

b. Communication Skill level: Select the level of language (ability to read,write ans speak needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.

Level 3: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

c. Reasoning ability: Select the level of reasoning skills and abilities needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.

Level 4 _ High Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Valid South Carolina driver's license and compliance with Time Warner Cable's vehicle safety operations policy required. *

g. Preferred Qualifications - Ancillary skills that would be helpful to have but are not required:

* Experience with CSG billing system preferred.
