An exciting opportunity awaits with a subsidiary of MAPAL Aalen, the worldwide leader in the precision cutting tool industry.  MAPAL, Inc. Port Huron is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Team Leader/Project Engineer.  The Team Leader/Project Engineer leads, coordinates and manages the assigned Customer Service Team to achieve customer satisifaction throughout the order, delivery and product use functions. The successful candidate will possess the following experience and/or education:

 Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and/or a technical field or equivalent experience.  15+ years cutting tool experience within the automotive industry, aerospace industry including process technology for machining operations. Demonstrated successful capability for process layouts in a sophisticated machining operation.  Demonstrated success in leading teams in achieving and exceeding company initiatives and projects. Demonstrated experience with metal cutting principles: power, thrust, balance, microfinishes, geometries. Exceptional oral, written, analytical and decisive skills.  Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and coach. Extensive computer experience: AutoCAD, Pro/E; Microsoft Office, and SAP operational experience and knowledge.  SAP key user responsibilities, preferred.
