THE ISLAMIC ACADEMY OF NEW ENGLAND AND AL-NOOR ACADEMY ANNOUNCE

TEACHING POSITIONS AVAILABLE!!!

The Islamic Academy of New England and Al-Noor Academy are looking to fill the following positions for the 2008-09 academic school year:

Substitute Chemistry teacher at the high school level. Certified Lead Teacher / Teacher for Infant & Toddler Day Care. Full time Elementary Home room School Teachers. Full/part time Teaching Assistants (TA). Subject Teachers for English, Science, Math, Art, Gym etc. at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Full/part time Office/administrative positions. Full time guidance counselor positions. Substitute teaching positions at all grade levels.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Interested candidates must be hard-working individuals dedicated to promoting the Islamic values and ideology of the school. Should enjoy working with children and adolescents of all ages with patience and a commitment to help enhance both their Islamic and academic pursuits. Should be organized, driven, cooperative, multi-tasked, and possess leadership abilities. Must have legal status and residence to work in the USA including proper documentation.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates interested in the teaching positions should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in the area of specialty (e.g. elementary school education, Arabic, Qur’an, Islamic Studies etc). Certification is preferred along with 1-2 years of experience. Candidates interested in the TA positions should show a combination of at least 1-2 years education/experience in the related field. Individuals interested in the office/administrative assistant positions must possess an Associate’s degree along with at least 1-2 years of experience in an office setting. Must be computer literate, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with others so as to present a positive image of the school.
