New Morning School, a pre K – 8 school in Plymouth, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit), is seeking a certified teacher with an emphasis in early childhood, elementary or middle school education. The candidate must have three years of teaching experience. More experience is preferred. This teacher will impart a joyful, exploratory, hands-on individualized program, appropriate for the developmental level of the students. Student-to-teacher ratio is 12:1. Parents assist every day in the classrooms.

This position begins August 25, 2008. The candidate will also be asked to spend some time in the classrooms this spring.
