Teacher/assistant Teacher

The Rockefeller University, a world-renowned center for research and graduate education in the biomedical sciences, seeks a Teacher/Assistant Teacher to join the University's Child and Family Center. The successful candidate will assist in the design and implementation of developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum for toddlers and preschoolers as well as develop positive and productive relationships with parents, children, colleagues, and administrators.

Associate's degree required for Assistant Teacher position; Bachelor's degree and related work experience in early childhood education for Teacher position. Educational emphasis in early childhood education, child/human development, and/or psychology preferred. Must have an understanding of child and adult development, strong verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and a sense of humor.
