Responsibilities include:

Research fuel tax and sales tax laws and regulations.

Interpret findings and maintain tax guide.

Build and maintain good communications with state governments and taxing jurisdictions.

Field compliance questions from fuel payables, billing and marketing.

Review fuel licenses for accuracy and applicability.

Assist with maintaining tax rules and rates in Love’s fuel transaction system, SolArc Right Angle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent preferred.

Strong verbal and written communications skills in order to interpret and communicate tax laws and regulations.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications quickly.

Critical thinker.

Ability to multi-task.

Attention to detail/organizational skills.

Fuel experience is a plus, but not required.
