Large multi-million dollar manufacturer in North Georgia is currently seeking a Tax Manager. Responsibilities will include preparing the quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with FAS 109 and FIN 48, including the global effective tax rate and the rollforward and analysis of income tax payable and deferred tax accounts; prepare income tax footnote disclosures for Form 10-K and Form 10-Q reporting; assist in the preparation of federal, state, local and international income and franchise tax returns (including estimated payments); ensure company is properly registered to do business in all federal, state and local jurisdictions; assist with taxing authority audit defense and additional special projects as assigned by executive management.

Qualifications :
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 5+ years of recent corporate income tax accounting experience. Interested candidates must have knowledge and proficiency in the preparation of the entire FAS 109 tax provision and preparation of consolidated federal and multi-state corporation income and franchise tax returns. CPA or Master's of Taxation is required for this position. Big 4 tax experience strongly preferred. Candidates must have good communication skills, the ability to lead and manage and function well in a fast-paced team environment.
