Responsibilities:
Process and ensure timely payment of over 2,000 property tax bills; maintain property tax payment and valuation schedules on MS Excel spreadsheets. Review property tax bills for reasonableness. Prepare Secretary of State Annual Reports; Quarterly federal fuel tax reports (Forms 720) and requests for taxpayer identification number (Forms W-9). Administrative duties include typing, filing, copying, mail, and maintaining tax department supplies.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 -6 years administrative experience; prior property tax or general tax experience a plus.
· Strong MS Excel, word processing, general computer skills.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks under restricted time elements.
· SAP accounting software knowledge a plus.
