West Asset Management is one of the top 10 collection agencies in the U.S. and a division of a $1.2 billion teleservices company.  We have an opening for a Talent Agent in our Cockeysville, MD office.  The Talent Agent is Responsible for recruiting, testing and hiring of prospective employment candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·          Responsible for recruiting, testing and hiring of prospective employment candidates

·          Conduct screening of  applications according to established policies and procedures to select applicants that meet defined application

·          Perform various day-to-day tasks to assist in the recruiting testing and hiring process of prospective employments candidate.

·          Schedule and conduct interviews with candidates identifying employment opportunities

·          Develop materials and processes for use in the hiring process

·          Assist internal and external resources to develop and recruit effectively

·          Coordinate the administration of the employee referral program and rewards.

Required Qualifications: 

·          Associate's degree (A. A.) from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, communications, business administration, human resource management or related field required or 2 years experience in a similar position.

·          Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, communications, business administration, human resource management or related field preferred

·          Minimum one year recruiting experience preferred

·          Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel required

·          Travel requirements may vary by site

·          Experience with Affirmative Action Plan preferred.
