Tactical Security Officers Needed

Locations: CA, NJ, FL, OH, and IL

Gettier Security: Special Operations Tactical Security Division is now looking for qualified individuals for upcoming assignments across the U.S.  The Tactical Security Division is primarily involved in industrial security; including threat management, physical security, evidence collection and executive protection for companies involved in labor disputes. The tactical division also provides both armed and unarmed security for clients throughout the United States in response to natural disasters and heightened DHS threat levels, among other types of assignments.

·         California: Qualifying applicants will be able to meet the standard of the Tactical Security Division and provide documentation of a valid, current California State Security Officer License. If you are unsure if your license is current, or if you need to print a copy of your license for documentation, this information can be obtained at http://www.bsis.ca.gov/online_services/verify_license.shtml. We will consider for employment individuals who have met the initial training requirements for California and who have already been fingerprinted, but have not yet been registered with BSIS.

·         New Jersey: Qualifying applicants will be able to meet the standard of the Tactical Security Division and provide documentation of a valid, current New Jersey State Security Officer License. We will consider for employment individuals who are able to be registered under the NJ-SORA and that can be available for training within 30 days of registration at their own expense if the training requirement cannot be accomplished before the completion of the assignment.

·         Florida: Qualifying applicants will be able to meet the standard of the Tactical Security Division and provide documentation of a valid, current Florida Class “D” “M” or “G” Security License.

·         Ohio: Qualifying applicants will be able to meet the standard of the Tactical Security Division and provide documentation of a valid, current Ohio State Security Officer License.

·         Illinois: Qualifying applicants will be able to meet the standard of the Tactical Security Division and provide documentation of a valid, current Illinois State Security Officer License.

Assignment Terms & Employee Status

o        Short term, with varying lengths of employment

o        Part-time employee status

Shift Hours

12 hour shifts, 7 days a week for periods of 45 days at a time

Job Qualifications          

Prior military, law enforcement or qualified tactical security backgrounds required

Paid Travel & Expenses

All travel and lodging expenses are paid for and arranged by Gettier, with no out of pocket expenses incurred by the officer
