The responsibility of an Associate Account Representative is to provide account support in partnership with the US sales force for our customer base. The AAR will work closely with the local sale representatives to increase sales and coverage in certain focus accounts. The Associate Account Representative will work in alignment with field sales representative to pull through the office portion of the sales cycle. In this role, it will be the Associate Account Representative's responsibility to act as product expert for Mitek Products and assist with territory development of specific target accounts and key surgical accounts. They will also provide effective product support through knowledge and use of various business tools including web site, reimbursement hotline, and coding information. Travel to all accounts within assigned territory, as directed by DePuy Mitek Field sales, will be necessary. To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess: a 4-year undergraduate college degree. A minimum of 1-2 years of field sales experience with documented results is preferred. Field sales experience with a product focus in the medical devices, surgical implants or injectables preferred. A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States paired with a clean driving record are mandatory. Candidates must possess good written and oral communication skills. The ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted is required. The ability to travel as necessary which may include overnights and/or weekends is required. Relocation is a possibility for an Associate Account Representative. The position may require flexibility in relocating within approximately the 12 - 18 months based on company needs.
