JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide analytic and software engineering to the Dayton, OH office to develop analytic software models of Navigation, Weapons, and Sensor systems. The successful candidate will implement exacting details of various systems and interfaces as part of a larger system model used to facilitate system integration and test.
• Design and implement robust object oriented software in FORTRAN 90/95, C++ and/or C#
• Document software designs, assumptions, and limitations
• Gather relevant details from Requirements Documents, Design Documents, and Interface Control Documents
• Participate in model development test and verification
• Participate in the application of constructive simulations in support of various analyses
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience including exposure to the full software development life cycle
• Affinity for implementing precise code
• Good written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Detailed oriented, capable of understanding and implementing complex algorithms
• 6+ years of experience including exposure to the full software development life cycle
• Ability to develop software in Fortran and/or C/C++
• Knowledge of GPS and Sensor Systems
• Knowledge of software development process and life cycle
• Relevant Master’s degree
US Citizenship and an active DoD SECRET Clearance within the last two years are required for the position.
