Control Point Corporation (CPC), an engineering consulting firm based in Santa Barbara, specializes in the design of complex electronic systems for defense applications. We are currently seeking experienced Systems Engineers to join our teams in Santa Barbara, CA and Detroit, MI.

Description:

Work with team developing complex vehicle and weapon system architectures that support navigation, C3I, target/threat detection, fire control, mobility, and diagnostics.  Model logical architecture of systems and subsystems; develop system/subsystem requirements; perform trade analyses; develop subsystem/component specifications; produce interface documentation.

Requirements:

Candidate must have BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.  Must have the ability to analyze complex systems, decompose into functional requirements and interfaces, and develop clear specifications and documentation.  Must have the ability to visualize relationships between information sets with independent representations, discover and represent complex sequences of events using abstraction, and verbally and graphically communicate complex relationships.   Knowledge of UML Modeling is highly regarded.  Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g. Rational Rose, DOORS, Requisite Pro) is expected.  Experience with embedded computing systems, diagnostic systems, and ground combat systems desirable.  Should have excellent communication skills and ability to secure a DoD secret security clearance.
