Senior Systems Administrator

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Diagnose problems with software (Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Third Party Programs)

Diagnose problems with hardware (PC desktop, Laptop, or server)

Apply software patches / upgrades and assist users in accessing company-wide internet, intranet, and enterprise-wide system

Respond to user requests as needed

Required to be a part of on-call (out of hours) support rotation

Understand and work with Microsoft Active Directory, administration, creation of user accounts and Internet E-mail

Repair or upgrade any printer or PC

Understanding of basic networking, Ethernet, TCPIP and remote communications

5+ years PC experience required

Fluent in Microsoft Windows technology

Knowledge of Macintosh OS 9, OS X, and fixing Apple hardware a plus

Knowledge of Lotus Notes a plus

Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills

Bachelor's degree a plus
