Description: As a senior systems/data center engineer, work directly with customers and project team staff to assess and evaluate current mission critical application portfolio, IT operations and design, identify issues and gaps, recommend solutions to solve problems, develop and document data center/applications architectures (current and target), and develop transition strategies to move from as-is to target state. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in assessing enterprise's current application architectures; evaluting the alignment with business needs and requirements,identifying and defining major issues and challenges in the current application portfolio and architecture, designing target application architecture, and developing transition roadmap to move from the current state to the target state. Extensive experience in modernizing and transitioning legacy/mainframe systems or applications, enhancing client/server applications to web-based applications, and planning and implementing SOA enterprise-wide. Experience in planning and managing large IT contract transitions from incumbent to new contractors and CIO level client interactions. Experience in writing winning proposals. Knowledge and experience in CMMI and ITIL. Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience A Total Value package.
