Systems Engineer II State/Province: Missouri City/Town: Kansas City Position Type : Full Time - Regular Field of Interest Category: Information Technology/Telecom Relocation: No Job Description: Job Summary This position will represent the Enterprise IT Organization in system support. This individual will function in a capacity to implement and maintain server systems located within the company's network. This position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures relative to server systems. Responsibilities Include: Implements new and maintains existing server systems. Provides system support in application and network troubleshooting. Monitors performance for all responsible server systems. Assists in deployments of 3rd party applications. Monitors and maintains system security to ensure system integrity. Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specially outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position. Transferable Skills (ex. Problem solving skills, detail oriented, etc) Customer Service Skills Team Player Detailed Oriented Excellent Communication Skills Professional Demeanor Time Management Qualifications Min 3 years experience with all current Windows Server Operating Systems Min 3 years experience with scripting technologies (WMI, VBS, KIX) Min 3 years experience with Server Class Hardware MSCE 2000 or 2003 (preferred) Physical Requirements -Travel necessary at times -Some lifting required at times (<50 pounds) Salary will be commensurate with experience.
