Systems Development Manager

 

Ziegler Cat, the Caterpillar Equipment & Engine Dealer for Minnesota and Iowa, is looking to add an exceptional Systems Development Manager to our expanding IS team. The position is located at our corporate headquarters in Bloomington, MN. The Systems Development Manager will lead a group of developers and help select, plan, and migrate from a legacy ERP application to a 3rd party dealer management system.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, coordinate, and report on development and implementation projects.Develop and implement policies, procedures and standards, and ensure their conformance with industry standards and company objectives.Recommend the procurement and upgrade of software, services, tools, and utilities consistent with the company’s needs.  Data management, application and data integration, application business resumption and disaster recovery, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Development of staff capabilities.  

Requirements:

5+ years of Systems Development experience4-year college degree in an IT related fieldExcellent communication and problem solving skillsSupervisory experienceMust demonstrate experience with large-scale project implementation Experience in MS Environment using MS SQL Server and .NET development technologiesExperience with Series I (RPG/COBOL) and Domino a plus
