Description: This Space Systems Company Strategic Missile Defense/Fleet Ballistic Missiles position performs systems administration and user support duties for Lockheed Martin (LM) personnel using Microsoft Windows systems. Position will apply technical expertise in Windows System Administration and utilize expertise in other related IT disciplines to include, but not limited to, user support, network connectivity, security patching, and hardware configuration.

Successful candidate will be a member of a local Information Technology group supporting 100+ users and all aspects of server administration, network connectivity and troubleshooting, desktop support and installations, upgrades, problem resolution, and data recovery. This position may require limited off-hour support for planned and unplanned outages and requires demonstrated basic knowledge of IT operational best practices.

Successful candidate must be able to obtain or have an existing DoD SECRET level security clearance.

Position is located at a Lockheed Martin facility in the Santa Cruz Mountains outside of Santa Cruz, California. Qualifications: - IT Help Desk/User support experience
- Operational understanding of computer networks to include: DNS, DHCP, WINS and TCP\IP
- Windows XP Pro/Vista support experience
- Windows Server 2000/2003 system administration experience
- Experience with installing/upgrading network equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to carry IT hardware objects up/down stairs Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience A Total Value package.
