Description:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide a high level of knowledge of Microsoft operating systems in a multi-platform enterprise environment. Extensive experience in designing, deploying, securing, and maintaining complex Microsoft enterprise solutions. Construct, maintain, upgrade, and secure all current versions of Microsoft operating systems. Possess a thorough working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, and Exchange 2003. Provide extensive experience in Microsoft operating system mechanics and security. (Clustered and Non-clustered) Provide extensive experience in Microsoft Exchange 2003 messaging structure. Provide experience in SQL server maintenance and backup/restore Provide extensive experience in Active Directory Group Policy construction and deployment. Research and integrate emerging technologies to evolve efficiency, reliability, and security of daily operations. (Hardware/Software). Provide application support for business solutions and improve functionality and form redundant support staff. Provide management with information and opportunities to improve technology functionality. Strong documentation skills. Posses a high level of skill in scripting in multi platform environments. Provide 24 hour support through on- call availability. Interface with Applications, Database, and Helpdesk support staff to coordinate over all solutions to provide a high level of end user support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess the ability to contribute to the development of new processes or systems; resolve complex technical problems; serve as spokesperson or leader on projects; and be a technical expert in one or more information technology areas. Must be customer focused and possess: (1) the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex matters; (2) excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including senior management and senior external parties: (3) excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees, including senior managers and senior external parties; (4) the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information; (5) the ability to effectively and efficiently initiate, plan, and manage projects; (6) the ability to represent the company as a technical expert on external projects ; and (7) excellent computer skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Strong working knowledge of operating systems of multiple platforms. Posses a high level of skill in scripting in multi platform environments. NAS storage experience. Corporate Symantec Anti-Virus administration. Veritas NetBackup experience. Provide 24 hour support through on- call availability Minimum Experience (yrs): 10
