Our client, an international manufacturer of Industrial Refrigeration Equipment and services is searching for a System Diagnostic Engineer at the senior level.  The US headquarters for this company is in York, PA with plants/operations in Texas, Alabama, California and Arkansas.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Management Level - Must perform as an individual with no supervisory role other than working as a group or working leader where on an incident basis, may supervise other Engineers and Technichians.

Direction Received - Assigned objectives and goals by VP of Engineering as exceptional needs arise, usually on a short term basis.

Professional/Vocational Grade - Consummate knowledge and skills - requires broad and comprehensive experience in Refrigeration Technology.

Key Job Requirements

Troubleshoot specific equipment malfunctions in operation which cannot be corrected by standard service and established engineering procedures.Assume special assignments to solve recurring equipment failures or malfunctions which do not respond to normal corrective measures.Develop support technologies such as vibration diagnostics,acoustics,fluid flow,and chemical analysis for use by the company's Engineering and Service Departments.Assist in the development of new products and design of engineered systems in areas where field experience influences product design.Serve as a representative of Management in dealing with customers when it is deemed necessary to modify deteriorating relations because of technical problems.

Minimum Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.Fifteen to twenty (15-20) years background in refrigeration and/or associated technology. Experience MUST be at an applied or design level.
