Job Description
Software Engineers in our Boulder, Colorado location are engaged in embedded software design and development roles targeted for cutting-edge telecommunication ASICS within our QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies (QCT) Division.

In this position, you will drive integration, adaptation and creation of a SymbianOS BSP for various QUALCOMM wireless chipset solutions. You will be working with all areas of chipset real-time embedded software and multiple wireless chipset platforms. Some positions also work on porting and integration of Series60 and UIQ to our wireless chipset solutions.

Skills/Experience
Must have strong C programming skills, good problem solving skills, and experience using software development processes
Must have working knowledge of data structures, multitasking concepts, and operating systems basics


Additional Skills
Basic TCP/IP data knowledge is a strong plus
In-depth knowledge of SymbianOS internals, Series60 and UIQ is highly desirable
Knowledge in real-time microprocessor-based embedded programming and embedded real-time operating systems is a plus
Experience with Perforce, ARM processors, and JTAG debuggers is an asset
Exposure to digital communication theory or digital circuit design is a benefit
Prior knowledge in digital communication, data structures in C, basic OS, and digital circuit design is beneficial

Education Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering is required.
